The 1st Forum on "Safety at Work at Height" organized by Active Point AEBE, in collaboration with the Association of Safety Technicians of Greece, was held with great success on Wednesday, May 18, at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Representatives from the Greek industry gave a resounding "presence", surpassing all expectations and expressing the huge interest in the subject. They were attended by senior executives from the construction industry, shipping, the private sector, business consultants, as well as many independent safety technicians.
The opening of the forum was made by the president of the Association of Safety Technicians of Greece, Panagiotis Hatzidimitrakis and the Managing Director of Active Point, Konstantinos Papazachariou. Among others, the General Secretariat for Industry of the Ministry of Development, Themis Eftichidou, the President of Elinyae, Irene Bardani and the Director of Communication of SEV, Dimitris Vergados, attended and welcomed the meeting.
The speeches and placements attracted the participants who expressed their intention to establish the Forum into an annual institution oriented towards safety for work at height. Active Point, as a Leader in the field of Health and Safety in Greece, in collaboration with STAE, the only organized representative of Safety Technicians, meet at the next edition of the Forum in 2023.
