The Deputy Minister of Labor, Vassilis Spanakis, visited Hellinikon and attended special training for safe work at height, in the first sustainable 50-story skyscraper, provided by ACTIVE POIONT to workers.
Mr. Spanakis congratulated the ACTIVE POINT team, praised the technical excellence as well as the excellent professional training of our instructors in matters of Health & Safety in working at height.
the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Vassilis Spanakis, after being informed in detail about the innovative safety and training systems for employees, said:
"We saw quite a few things that we have never seen before. Protection measures which are, for the Greek data, unprecedentedly important issues which are to be discussed for other activities as well. Our goal is to go to zero accidents and modernize our framework and be a country that is a leader in the issues of health and safety at work."
From ACTIVE POINT's side, Angelos Assariotakis, Operation & Training Director, said: "When someone works at a height, he is exposed to an immediate risk of falling, but not only that, there are many parameters he must consider. Even a screw missing, a human shot from 20 meters being "hit" by someone below is enough to cause destruction."
